Static is something that does not move, lacking in movement, action, or change, especially in an undesirable or uninteresting way. Looking at our movements when inhabiting our internal and external spaces.Static explores the use of choreographic objects with a lack of movement, focusing on what role the object then plays when its movement is limited. Using audio in the space verbally directing movements such as ' one step forward three steps backward' the artist deliberately evokes a sense of movement when being surrounded by static choreographic objects.
